Garden Homes Insurance Rating Announced
Just before Halloween, the Garden Homes Fire Protection District (GHFPD) received our results from the Insurance Service Office (ISO) concerning our Public Protection Classification (PPC) otherwise know as our ISO Rating. We are proud to announce that our ISO Rating has improved from Class 5 to Class 3. This places the GHFPD in the top 11% of all fire departments in the United States and should produce insurance savings for the Garden Homes community we serve. We would encourage all of our residents to contact their insurance provider to determine the impact of the Rating change on your insurance. |

Community Baseball Night!
On Friday, August 4th, the Garden Homes Fire Protection District is teaming up with the Windy City Thunderbolts to raise funds to support our operations. GHFPD gets a portion of every $10 ticket we sell and we will also be the recipient of the “Split” in the Split the Pot Raffle that night as well. If a summer night, minor league baseball, and supporting your local fire department isn’t enough of an enticement, the Thunderbolts are running multiple promotions that evening:
The game starts at 7:05 PM, all tickets are $10, and the Thunderbolts allow tailgating before the game. If you are interested in attending and helping out the GHFPD, you have four options to get tickets
